One of the most shoddy and cringe making interviews I have ever seen. This time it is on A Current Affair on Australia's Channel Nine.

Germaine Greer is being interviewed about a controversial article she wrote critical of environmentalist Steve Irwin. What is shocking and almost comical is the dramatic way in the which the presenter handles the interview. Just watch his his dismissive facial expressions, how he thinks he knows what Australia is thinking and how he describes Germaine as bitter at the end.

What he was thinking God knows as he is usually a brilliant journalist. I play you the interview not only to show you how bad and ridiculous an interview can get but also the entertainment value it offers.

  • You made a very good point. He sounds a lot like Bill O'Reilly from the O'reilly Factor.

  • @alleykatproductions Thanks. I agree :)

  • What would she rather us hide our dangerous creatures from the world so that people can come over and touch a lion fish and die in a few minutes, yeah rather let them know what theyre in for. Steve irwin did so much for our country she is a disgrace to the australian people not carl stefanovic.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • He didn't call her a bitter and twisted woman. He said she had a bitter and twisted VIEW!!!

  • All very subjective, of course.

  • Current Affair? It's tabloid, moron. It's moralizing, sensationalist propaganda and Steve Irwin was the kind of wild kingdom goof it likes to promote as being environmental. Asking Germaine Greer to name one person to say bad things about a dead clown is a classic sucker punch. But Greer is an old liberal windbag who insists on pontificating when all she had to do, in reply, is ask the interviewer to name Steve Irwin's greatest environmental achievement. That's sure to get a big laugh.

  • Fuck, I hate Germaine Greer so much. She is the most sad, vile, hateful, twisted bitch that ever existed.

By the way, I think Karl acted in that way to express what all Australians were thinking - except for that fucking thing with grey hair.

  • Germaine, go back in your hole and die seriously!

  • @JohnfromPerth Thanks for your feedback.

  • What I made of it is that Karl Stefanovic is trying to make his name as a journalist, and Germaine Greer is trying to convince the wolrd her opinion matters. both failed miserably.

  • excuse me, Australian's do NOT think they are above everyone else. We have something called a 'sense of humour'. Heard of it?
