Wow! I never heard him do this one... He reaches me every time with every note he sings. There is something about his style that carries a lilt in his voice that is so poignant and fantastic :) There are many singers that carry this well with more legato in the voice, but his musicianship and spirit captures the essence of the music perfectly.

I always want to say this song is my favorite song, but every time I listen to it, it brings me to a very unhappy, traumatic memory of when a girl who I loved broke my heart. I cried for hours listening to this song when she ended things with me. It's on such a different level of appreciation to me than all other songs...because it helped me cope...and Bonnie Raitt's voice calmed me. This is an amazing cover. Thank you.

Just saw Bruce perform with the Noisemakers last month and it was, bar none, one of the single finest concerts I've ever seen/heard. Getting to meet him and the band afterwards cemented my love of them. Genuinely great guy (hell, the whole band is friendly) who took time to make sure every fan got an autograph or photo. His music has been a constant companion through my life, helping me through two of the toughest times in my life, including the death of my first son. Great, great man.

@DivaTCD tellme about it Diva! if I don't watch or listen to bruce 1 day, somethin's missing! this show woulda been great. I saw him about 6 times in the Western New York area before and after I moved to Ohio. if I'm lucky I might see him twice in a month or so!(Columbus/lifestyle's and hopefully(more than C-bus) see him Kennet sq. PA. w/ the nooooooooooooisemaaaaaaaker's!­:) Keep watchin & jammin Bruce n life will be good!-
