Road work

Our township is pretty dumb if you ask me. There wasnt any pot holes, or anything wrong with the road, not even visually. This has been going on before i left for Anthrocon and just now they are paving the road. This was taken today 6-30-11 just minutes ago. :/

They do that so they will spend the government's funding so they won't lose funding for the next year. Pretty dumb, if you ask me, I mean, if they don't need it, what's the point of having it? That's one of the reasons America is so far in debt. :/

Its the cycle of roads. The bad ones will never get fixed and the ones that frequently get fixed never need it.

Looks like they are laying down ashphalt. Was it originally ashphalt? It could have had something wrong with it that couldn't be seen. Or they just wanted to replace the top layer due to age.
