Hindu is a Muslim word for people that live south of the Indus or Sindhu RIver. The teachings of the "Hindus" are the Vedas, which descend from the spiritual world, Vaikuntha, Goloka Vrndavana. They are completely non sectarian and are all encompassing. They are mono theistic teachings. Lord Sri Krishna is the Supreme Lord, Param Brahman, and Visnu is His incarnation in the material world. Lord Siva and Brahma are His demigods, the chief of 33 million, who are all servants of Sri Krsna. Om Krsna

@iorost ..ur absolutly right..the whole point of human life is enlightenment through divine consciousness.but as accordng to hinduism we are living in the last period of earth cycle .so its quite difficult to attain supreme knowledge in such a short life span.the only thing we can do is recite the holy name which ever according to your faith is & dedicate ur whole actions to the supreme one.its the only path to complete liberation.

“Speech and breath are joined together in the Syllable Om.” (Chandogya Upanishad 1.1.6)
The breath and Om arise from the very root of our being, the spirit. Joining Om to the breath
extends Its transforming vibrations throughout the entire range of our being. It also unites the
different aspects of our being and begins more effectively and rapidly evolving us, returning us
to the Source–but now transformed.
“The breath is continually sounding ‘Om.’” (Chandogya Upanishad 1.5.3)

Om is expanding outward in waves from the core of the cosmos. The same is happening
with us. From our atma Om is being impulsed outward. By coming into alignment/synchronicity
with the atmic impulse through the intonations of Om, we can return to our true state of
being.

“God is the Syllable Om.” (Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:17)
“Om is Brahman. Om is all this. He who utters Om with the intention ‘I shall attain
Brahman’ does verily attain Brahman.” (Taittiriya Upanishad 1.8.1)
“The self [atman] is of the nature of the Syllable Om. Thus the Syllable Om is the very
self. He who knows It thus enters the Self [Supreme Spirit] with his self [individual spirit].”
(Mandukya Upanishad 1.8.12)
“Meditate on Om as the self.” (Mundaka Upanishad 2.2.3)
-
“Om is Brahman, the Primeval Being. Through It one knows what is to be known.”
(Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 5.1.1)
“I will tell you briefly of that Goal which all the Vedas with one voice propound, which all
the austerities speak of, and wishing for Which people practice discipline: It is Om.” (Katha
Upanishad 1. 2.15-17)
“Om is the Supreme Brahman.” (Svetasvatara Upanishad 1:7)
“The real nature of Brahman is identical with the Pranava.” (Svetasvatara Upanishad 2:8)

“Among words I am the sacred syllable Om.” (Bhagavad Gita 10:25)

@tamilprince2008 my fren, where are they?
Dear Sir, Hinduism is not a religion like Christianity and Islam. They are all based on a particular text. But so called hinduism is the anothology of various thoughts and ideas which passed from generation to generation and refurbishing itself by new idea and thoughts even borrowing ideas and thoughts from others also. Hindusim never says that they are only correct , others are worong and living sin. Becuase Hindu ideologist knows all the concepts and texts are made by humanbeing only.

If it helps them feel closer to spirit and raise the vibration of the planet then why does it matter? Were all one big happy family of spirit...maybe it is a new beginning for them and they are happy to show it. We need to focus on ourselves first and then when are enlightened may we help guide others..but each has to walk the path or self-discovery...allow them to.
