Training a new parrot with positive reinforcement can set them up for a lifetime of success. In this video you can see two young parrots (Beni and Wrigley) demonstrate what they have learned in just a few short months. They are off to the Kaytee Learning Center where they will be ambassadors for their species. Here they will teach children about conservation and responsible pet ownership. You will see their first appearance at a school near the end of the clip. To learn more about training your bird, addressing behavior problems and most of all having a great relationship with your parrot visit www.GoodBirdinc.com.

  • madame, is that really a baby parrot? I have some baby parrots who are nearly 15 days old but nowhere as big as your's ;P. and such a thick fur!!

  • @bfmvshinigami These parrots are both less than a year old in this video. Parrots are about the same size as adults at weaning. They dont fully mature until about 2-3 years old for macaws, less time for smaller species.

  • What is the treat

  • @xToXiicxT3RRoRx go down about 3 posts for more info on that : )

  • what do they give birds to eat as a reward of doing thing in a correct way ?

  • @0gostrun go to my blog on my website. Then search "training diet" in the search box about half way down on the right. It tells you all about what I feed. website is good bird inc.

  • had my parrot now 5 yrs and having trouble breakin him into going on his back or using a towel over him & won't let me touch his wing or front/backsides to pet him only his head. before we bought him ppl in the store would terrorize him so i think that traumatized him a lot, whats best ways to break a parrot of this and to train to get farther of touching etc?
