I wish you could have seen the puzzled faces staring at my wizarding robes...

  • I live in Oxford and I have always thought they didn't film the dining hall scenes at Christchurch, I thought they built the set based on Christchurch hall but no filming took place there.... ???

  • You're 95% right, with one catch. The docent at 7:03 told me that they had tried to film at Christchurch for the first movie but the inconvenience to the Oxford students after 6 weeks of filming was so bad that they had to abandon it and build a set based on the hall, which was then used for filming. So... the real Christchurch dining hall isn't seen in the movies, but there was a serious attempt to initially film there.

  • I'm pretty sure that's James and Lily Potter's house at 4:02 , but anyway, this is really cool!

  • You're quite right! That is indeed James and Lily Potter's House--and where they were murdered by Voldemort. Thanks for pointing this out and glad you enjoyed the video.

  • @mowingthefrontlawn it's godric's hollow. Voldemort was born there and when he moved out James and lily moved in, had Harry and when voldemort came back to godric's hollow he killed them. As seen in the seventh movie, nagini, disguised as an old lady, is in the house waiting for Harry and hermione. It was originally Tom riddle's house.

  • First minute and a half are a waste. Just get to it already!
