When I see Brendel, the imagine of Liszt comes to my mind, because Brendel is a great performer of Liszt. I'm really impresed to listen him playing Chopin, and however is not one of the best performance of this piece, it's really interesting.
@ninfo64 - and as long as you think this is not him , you would be absolutely wrong - Brendel is great in this , very modest he didn't think of himself as a Chopin player, his version of this Polonaise, is unique, one of a kind .... this is a recording to treasure , I wouldn't want to listen to any other ....

@sugarve It is Brendel. I have this recording on CD at home. Strangely enaugh, Brendel did record some Chopin during his carrer.
