I imagine Chuck that you have torn out all references to King David out of your Bible - you certainly wouldn't want the influence of an adulterous murderer in your life. When are people going to get that Jesus anoints all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons - and it is he we need to follow and look for where HE is moving. Personally I want to be where Jesus is moving and that means I need to accept who he chooses to use - wether I agree with HIM or not.

@chucksnothereman The issue here Chuck is following the God they worship and serve - not the man. I'm a Psychologist and counsellor and worked in Christian organisations. I can give you a lot of stories of 'suit & tie wearing' right wing fundamentalist pastors/elders/leaders/Joe Average regular church attending guys who are living double lives. They are respected by their church community while at the same time regularly engaging in sinful activities no one knows about. Recognise God uses all.

@chucksnothereman Yeah, you want the "anointing" of a druggie who got half-saved, just like Crowder & Bentley, so they can usher a generation of youth into a trance mode before they split hell wide open....NO ONE is 100% PURE, but we ARE commanded to expose the false works of darkness.....You can make excuse for them all you want, good luck with that.....

That's right Mark, we only want to follow, & have leaders anointed by God who are 100% pure, without sin - perhaps you could take on the role & lead the church. Here's what I know, I'm not gay, maybe I have sinned less than Lonnie in my 44 years, maybe I've sinned more (mine are not as obvious - oh to be pure & holy like you) but one thing I know - Lonnie has pointed more people to the Lord, proclaimed His name more & given more glory to Jesus than I have - would I like his zeal & anointing? YES

I'm not saying emotions are a bad thing. But if we are led by our emotions and not the Holy Spirit, we can be misled. I see this any many of the movements of today. Were to live by our faith not feelings.

What I teach is what I do, I teach to build a relationship with God. Get to know Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Love God with everything you have. Hang out with Them have fun, get to know them. Develop your relationships.

Please, Please seek Christ not signs and wonders... Lonnie Frisbee was a known homosexual and did drugs while he was in the ministry. God's grace will teach you to walk in holiness. Seeking for emotional experiences will set you up for destruction....

The closer and more intimate relationships get to Jesus the more he shows up and when he shows up there are signs and wonders. To run from and shun signs and wonders is to purposely hinder your relationship with Jesus. How do you get to know someone if you don’t let them talk or do anything around you. Not letting yourself grow higher in the Lord because you have seen some fall from a high height only hinders your growth.
