The same people who put us in this mess are the same idiots who couldn't manage fannie mae/freddie mac. These people are the ones who knew the subprime market was screwed 6 years ago, and yet they continued to play politics and spend billions of our tax dollars on crap like useless wars, bridges to nowhere, mating habits of elk, etc. Now they say they need a bailout? why in HELL should we believe any of these fools? Dude other country bought t bills and mortgage backed securities. If this deal goes south it will create a gobel economic collapes. We are the only ones in the mess. Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Europe (most of Europe), the Middle East, all of our trade parterns and then there trade parterns will be hit by this. So if u live some were in the world you will be affect by collapse of American finance sector.
