Mohan Rangan and Ravikiran are well known musicians who were inspired to learn flute from their father Sri H. D. Govindaraj, whom they lost early in his life. His memories motivated them to develop the hobby he had - playing the flute. Mohan and Ravi started their flute career under the tutelage of Vidwan S.A. Sashidhar at Vijaya College of Music, Bangalore. They continued to learn advanced music education under the guidance of Sangeetha Kalarathna Prof. H.V. Krishnamurthy. The duet has performed in many esteemed Sabhas in Chennai and Bangalore.
