I was an Owner operator for heartland express but when my miles per week went down from 2700 to 1500 per week it was time to do something i got the hell out

Heartland is a good company, they are one of the ones that get it. I have been there 17 years and looking for more. They have always taken care of me.

Yeah thats N. Liberty IA . Man that is one cold-assed place in winter. Not a tree or shrub to break the ever-blowing wind and snow. And the people that work there are as cold as the weather. LOL that brings back the memories worked there 5 years. She won't be as cheerful very long. Abandon hope all ye who enter here!

@burntskull77 trucking is not bad at all if u understand the rules u will be 100percent fine i drive for prime and its good company get the miles and things but im kinda looking for other options its good to see places scereny wise and u wanna be on ur own trucking is the way to go i bring home 500-700weekly i dnt have a house but i have a son and i bought me a car lol

I've watched a LOT of videos on truckin. I myself just got my cdl permit. And, I would like to ask you, is driving a truck a good job? I'm not married and have no kids. No house to worry about. But, I hear truck driving is a really bad job right now. Is this true?
