I knew about the bathtub hoax but had no idea it was Mencken who wrote it! I'm currently reading "a Mencken chrestomathy" and I must say it is a delight to read and has had me laughing at loud many times. He is someone you can take pleasure reading even on points you disagree with him.

And the music accompanying the vid is excellent too. I have always loved Mencken but did NOT know the bathtub hoax. Actually I never knew what he looked like and just remember admiring him from my high school days when I wanted to be a newspaper man but I was a girl lol! Ty for the vid!

I really liked this video, it was rather interesting. I have never heard of such a thing and so that really played a part. Good work on the text and pictures, it all really worked great.

I had never heard of this guy and what he done so it made the film interesting. You done a good job with the pictures you used with the text. They went very well with each other.

This video has a funny but truthful spin to it. I like the way you used pictures with words to express what you meant. The clip was interesting too.

I really enjoyed this topic! It was very interesting and something new to me. I think you did an excelent job on the picture choices and the transitions. I think it would have been good if you could have got another picture of Vielmas, but it is still a great job!
