This is really cool, although the no UV claim isn't *quite* true unless it's being filtered by the housing because white LEDs require some UV light in order to make the yellow phosphor on the reflector glow to turn the mostly blue light emitted by the LED into white light. But the UV emitted by white LEDs (longer wavelength, closer to consumer black lights) is still far safer and less damaging than the UV emitted by fluorescent lights (shorter wavelength, closer to industrial UV).
