I love to click on the occult related vids just to read all the comments posted by people who get their panties in a bunch over things that don't effect them in anyway. Kills time before work.

"The Old Crow", Mr Crowley was one of those unique philosophers and practitioners that comes along once in a thousand years. He had an innate skill for magick, although I don't see eye to eye with him on several ideas like blood sacrifice i.e. sacrificing a cat, because I believe that the sacrifice should be from the magician themselves. In other words, the magician didn't give up anything, just 'offered' an animal's blood - making an offering vs. a sacrifice. Still an interesting, learned man.

@squishy121888 If someone's will is to be a tyrant and create a slave society, they need to fight against that path. I believe humans have the capacity to fight every urge we consider to be "bad". We also have the wonderful ability to nurture the "good" urges, and it will grow. We just need to put aside the stupid, antiquated belief structures like Thelema that teach nothing about the real human condition.
-
@squishy121888 The fact is, you're saying we need a realistic view of human behavior. "Crime will always exist and we need to deal with it in real time." OK. MY realistic view of human behavior is one of increasing change and improvement based upon emotions, skills. and behavior that WE ALL AS HUMANS (not just me buddy) consider to be "Good". Not "Evil". I know you don't believe it, but crime can be reduced to next to nothing. Not eradicated, but finally manageable. But we must fight evil will.
-
@squishy121888 A dumb excuse is trying to rationalize evil behavior and not addressing any real problems that have very real, very simple solutions. The cure for cancer. Water as fuel. Sustainable living. Geothermal energy. When these are fixed, crime is reduced due to the improvement of living conditions. Maybe YOU should read a little more on Thelema. There are pretty clear statements validating, even promoting things like serial killers. Disturbing values for an increasingly disturbed world.
What if your will is to destroy people? What if your will is to hurt and destroy part of the world? Wouldn't that mean that "doing what thou wilt" is terrible advice? In that case, shouldn't you use love to FIGHT AGAINST your will? What a crappy way to live, being a slave to your will. Sorry, but I guess I'm more of a free spirit than Mr. Crowley.

The full statement is "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law
LOVE is the law, love under will" Which if I'm not mistaken means to inflict your will on others is not an act of love. I do not wish to be condescending in anyway but perhaps you should take a longer look at Crowley's philosophises I think you will find they are all about not being a slave to your will.

93 I wished, nicked the footage from the BBC. I'm just starting work on a new project that will be filmed by myself well at least 90% of it. I have a brother and sister going to Egypt so they are going to film some footage for me. Soon as I have completed it I will give you a shout. Thanks for the comment.93s Simon
