Perfect Pitch Lesson 6: The student demonstrates her ability to sing any note upon command. She already knows how to name notes after hearing them, but recalling and singing them from memory has required extra practice and focus. She does not use relative pitch skills to accomplish this, as she is too young to do so with such ease.
Wasn't that 'Bye' an 'E' at the end? :)

Great job Ashland!! I ordered the David L Burge "Perfect Pitch" course after being "inspired" by you! I have been a Professional Show Player/Studio musician/Jazz Guitarist for many years, but have never taken the time to develop "Absolute Pitch"-but, obviously have a very good sense of "Realtive Pitch"-which I am learning is a Completely different skill, altogether.
Keep up the Good work!! I'm Super Proud of you!! :)

I never went through this when I was doing piano at age 5-8. I can recall the pitches used for any song very accurately even if I don't like it and I heard it a few times on the radio. But I've never associated these pitches with names.
Time to start learning pitches like learning colors for the first time, at age 17. :|
