No, "everybody" doesn't know that. If he did use something (and there's no evidence that he did), only he, the person(s) who supplied him, & whoever was around when he was using it (if anyone) would have known. Everyone else can only speculate.
YouTube is filled with blowhards making this claim, but, so far, none have provided any evidence. I doubt that they ever will.

@spamagatti The women!! OMG...they all look like Arnold Schwartzenegger with dyed blonde hair, blue eyeshadow and bags of silicone riveted to their chests. Looking at them makes me want to gouge my eyes out. What a horror show.

@PharmacistMuscle It was relatively recently that the "X" shape with such big legs has become the ideal in bodybuilding.
It as long been favoured to obtain a "V" shape, i.e. broad shoulders, flaring lats and slim waist, which Reeves most definitely possesses!
Another reason his legs looked slimmer is that he is taller than the majority of BodyBuilders in any era.
To my eyes he is more in proportion than any of the HGH injected BB "champions" of today.

Classic physique and symmetry he was awesome and the reason I first started working out. He ignited my love of iron, then Bob Bednarski fired my love of Olympic lifting and Pat Casey inspired me to powerlift which I still do today.

So much nicer than so-called bodybuilders now, so full of steroids they have faces like shrivelled raisins and bodies like sideshow freaks.
