This aired tonight on Me Tv. Boris Karloff was outstanding in the role.  Magnitudes better than the 1999 remake.

In this version he is only covered in bandages at the very beginning. Just like in the remake he is in "normal human form" most of the time. Did you even see the movie or the trailer here or did you just come here to badmouth it? Because you can see how he looks for most of the film at 1:04. Now the 1999 version is more realistic? The special effects where too cheesy and over the top. Better actors? Brandon Fraser trying to be funny is cringeworthy. Better plot? It's the same fucking plot.
