1940 OLDSMOBILE COUPE - THIS IS NOT YOUR FATHER'S OLDSMOBILE

To borrow a advertising slogan from a few years ago, this definitely is NOT your father's Oldsmobile. This is a completely customized Olds from the engine compartment, the entire interior, suspension, and wheels. There is nothing original with the interior except the dome light, door handles, and window cranks. However, the exterior is basically factory. Not much left with the factory integrity but this is an excellent customization of a rare forties car. Customized and tastefully done. Thanks very much for viewing this 40 Olds.

I have 2 of these. One L series 90 coupe, another 4-door. Both original engine though. I am putting a new cracked piston in the 2-door. The 4-door has 23,000 original miles, but has been outside for most of its life. The 2-door is 95%. Anyone want one?

My father has a 40 that looks EXACTLY like this one. My brother painted the vehicle in OKC and my father brought it back to Saint Louis. He is in the "Rodders" club. Is this possibly his car? The color of the paint is what caught my eye :)
