You don't have to drain your battery to 0% lithium-ION batteries prefer partial discharge. Draining your battery repeatably to 0% can shorten your battery's life. Only do this when your meter is inaccurate.
For my iPhone, I completely drain it to 10% or 15% then charge back to 100% i don't wanna completely discharge it.
