*Nicks POV*

I gotta admit breaking up with Alex was really hard. I didnt want to but she was seriously considering breaking up with me for Joe and it ticked me off. So I lost it kinda. She was missing all day so I figured she was asleep. When it was time for the show she came in looking miserable and it wasnt a good feeling knowing I had done that to her. To add to it she broke down horribly in the middle of her song. She had to leave for a while but when she came back she did really well. She went to sleep right after the show with no regard that Savannah was there. She hung out with us on our bus. "Nick why?" she asked with a pissed off tone. "She was gonna breakup with me for Joe" "Looking at the condition shes in now I really dont think she was going to" "Oh well its already done" I said. I was tired of being the bad guy. "Oh well thats all you can say. I hope she doesnt get back with you. Youre a jerk you didnt give a crap about her" she argued. "We probably wont get back together anyway. She didnt like me as much as she claimed she did" "Youre right she didnt like you because she loved you. Youre so cold hearted" she yelled. "Oh shut up Savannah. You just got here you dont know anything about what went on so stay out of it" I instantly felt a sting on my face from where she just slapped me. "You expect me to stay out of something when my best friend and my unbiological sister wants to kill herself? I dont think so thats never gonna happen. You just crushed her heart into a million little pieces right before her birthday" she screamed. "Birthday? She never said anything about her birthday" I said. "Some boyfriend you are dont even know your girlfriends birthday. She spent tons of money on your party and present and you dont even know when hers is" "Stop complaining for a second. When is her birthday?" I asked. "The twelth" "Ok" I said nailing that date into my brain. "Youre lucky that Im tired or I would keep yelling at you. So goodnight" she said walking off the bus. "Nick you screwed up" Joe commented. "Shut up Joe! Im not having a good day just leave me alone" I said walking to my bunk. I threw my headphones in my ears and turned it all the way up. I shoved my head in my pillow and eventually fell asleep. I woke up the next morning not feeling any better. I knew I needed to talk to her but I couldnt bring myself to do it. The days went by without talking. Then it hit her birthday and I knew it would be cruel to not talk to her. We did get her a cake and have a surprise for her during the show. But of course she had the least idea. "You ready for tonight and our surprise?" Kevin asked. "Yeah I guess but it doesnt really matter to me since she hates me" I answered. "Nick she doesnt hate you shes just mad at the way you did her" Joe added his opinion. "What makes you think that?" "Um hello best friend here. She tells me everything" he said. "Well then I guess you would know but I guess were pretty much done for good since we dont talk" "You sound like you want to be done since youre just giving up" "Well to be honest I wanted to break up with her and you gave me a reason. You see me and Miley started talking again and I really miss her" I started explaining. Joe gave me a totally disgusted look. "Dont even start to explain just do whatever you want to with your freakin life Nick. I really dont care anymore. Did you figure that since theyre not friends that you could just go to her without anybody caring?" he asked me. Why was everybody making me the bad guy? "Well kinda" I honestly answered. "Well your plan backfired cause according to Oceanup, Miley and Elly were seen shopping together and getting lunch together" Kevin blurted out. "What?! Since when did they become friends?" I asked totally in shock. "A couple of weeks ago actually. Half of the time you thought she wasnt with you cause she was with me but she was with Miley. Theyre pretty close and theyve worked out their differences" Joe answered. Of course he wouldnt tell me this stuff. "Well thats just great shes not gonna date me now" I complained. "Well you brought it on yourself. Just get ready for tonight" he said.
