I personally didnt like this song out of the something like 20 songs.. i didnt even know who Magni was then! I knew the band, but not the singers name... so it has opened my eyes to him...
But not everyone knew about that Magni had this rocking voice...
PS:remember Silvia Night, that loves Ryan Star?she was on the competition too, and won!HAHAHAHA

This band is not his band and never was, it just played for him on this song because it was in a song contest, the band he was in was mostly composing pop music, but he was performing covers of other songs that were rock in concerts... This song/and/or lyrics in the video was composed by someone not in his band too, so the song only relates to Magni in the way that he got a call,was asked to sing this song,and he said yes..

why was he on rockstar? desire to try something new/adventurous?expand/explore options,get the world to know who he is,its a great publicity for icelandic rock music,or just icelandic music altogether,Meet new people,maybe he just wanted to join the band..hehe.. its like when people have jobs, not everyone keep the same workplace for eternity... they want to make a change...
