@dud808 which is similar to Hey Ahab. Seems it's either mono-chordal dirges or vamped up 'R & B' songs like this for Elton thesedays. Not sure he's able to sing much else.

I prefer this to Noah's Ark, it was worth a place on the album. Anyway, the new album The Union, with Leon Russell, is superb

Let's hope that Elt continues to produce his own stuff in the future cos he really brings the bluesy touch into it. i read that he will use a starproducer for the next album which worries me. It usually turns out a small commercial peak at the cost of personality these days.

I am not sure if it is a B-side. Bernie wrote a lyric for the album called "12" that Elton never set to music just like "Dogs In the Kitchen.
