stock 07 STi vs stock 05 evo 8

both these cars are untouched. 100% stock, raced on a corner and the evo had a slight advantage. it's obvious the evo would have kept pulling but we'll get better footage from a dig on a straight road.

Im not using this video to base any final result. An yes, i have seen and have first hand experiance with evos and sti's. Stock vs stock or similar mods. The evo wins if the driver doesnt mess up. half a litre doesnt help much. What helps is a bigger turbo and higher boost. If you know their dyno results, they are almost exactly identical, this is where the bigger an better turbo comes in with higher boost. So unless the driver sucks, the evo will win.

i hate when people base their "knowledge" off of the fact the STI has more horsepower....when they both came out the EVO ranked higher on every test. And this is coming from someone who would rather have an STI. I just hate ignorant people.

@MattH12491 the stock usdm turbo in the sti is a vf39, pretty damn small compared to a 16g. A 20g is similar in size as the 16g, but is basically bored out. if you put the evo turbo in front of the sti turbo, it was just eclipse it.

good run im an evo man thats what ive got, personally most of the time a stock for stock race depends on whos the better driver and can shift faster and cleaner...i love readin when some people who are retarded like to brag about there knowledge about cars...who do people listen to someone who knows there stuff, or some people who act like they know what there talkin about.
