Barrie/Bradford GO Train Northbound on the CN Newmarket Sub BLASTING through Lefroy, Ontario in Innisfil at approximately 70MPH.

GO Transit has been using the old F59PH engines in partnership with the newer MP40s in the fall to combat the issue of leaves falling on the tracks and making the trainsets lose traction at high speeds. Unfortunately, GO Transit has plans to retire these last few F59s . :( I love the sound and power of these guys, its a shame that they have to go :(

Lead Engine: 562
Cab Car: 217
Final Engine: 616

  • I didn't know that this crossing was fitted with a classic bell. I thought all the crossings were only fitted with these god-awful American-sounding electronic bells!

  • @BarrieBusesandTrains agreed fully, the only ones on the Barrie/Bradford line Ive seen with these bells are in this videos location, and at the Aurora GO Station crossing, sad sad fact that they have to change them to the crappy ebells (the crossing at Minet's Point Road has a malfunctioning ebell!) it has a weird tone to it
