it has a better hang, if you slunk it low the weight will shift to the axe so much that it takes the effort off your back and fretting hand.

if you like the SE, you should check out the mira, it blows my SE custom away. just pure tone heaven, it's evenly biased so if you're set on les paul, go for it.

what weened me away from les paul is that it has such a heavy neck and hard to fret, and i've heard their factory isn't as good as it used to be.

yes i tried a PRS SE in a guitar shop the other day, and i found they look and sound very much like a gibson, with the less weight. but for some strange reason i just seem to like the heavier wieght of the les paul, the PRS just didnt feel right in my hands.

well now i have a prs mira, which i love.

i just don't think you know all you know when you're new, i always advice people to keep it cool with their money until they're better & more confident in what they want.

i've owned a lot of guitars, epi casino, i got a epi les paul on sale, and then i changed style a bit and got a prs se custom and now the mira.

it took me years until i felt i knew what kind of guitar i really wanted. if i had bought that gibson i might not have my mira now
