Sounds great...I have the 40x and have a Joe Pass Epi coming to me next week. As far as jazz is concerned, i get a better tone on my cube (which was under $300) than on my Hot Rod Deluxe which is 2-3 times the price.

@ShitHappensRLY it is a good amp, but need some setup. it has plenty of bass, but you should avoid too many basses (it trend to have some hi fi tone, not very realistic) and at opposite use mid frequencies that this amp miss in some way. You can close the bass reflex hole unmounting the front grid, i used a mouse pad to close holes :) i tried also to change the speaker, you can have pretty improvement but you need to choose right speaker for your taste. avoid reverb, here is real terrible
