I think all religions create numb-minded followers, no matter what they teach. You can't understand an idea if you just read it in a book, or hear it from someone's mouth, I think everyone should explore spirituality personally and develop their own ideas and conclusions.

I want a leader who has the ability to have an opinion on what's right and what's wrong from their own observation and feelings, not just because the bible says it's right or wrong.

you want to know some reality? a nation founded under christianity, is begining to reject it. so the REALITY is, that america is destroying its very foundation. so your question seems kinda stupid when a nation is forcing faith away, instead of embracing it.
