I worked here one summer...Home Laughlin China Co. in Newell WV. That was all I could take. Went back to college for sure after that. You know I never actually saw any of this. I was a finisher. But watching it...I am sure I saw some of my relatives. They all worked there for their entire lives.

Very inspiring piece to watch before heading into work at my own tiny Kri Kri Studio in Seattle. However, I think I need a nap first. Those workers are fast!

I just love the video and how skillful the factory workders are. I am also surprised that the manufacturing was that advanced and automated already in 1930. I wonder which country this is.
How does the production of mass produced china look like today? Please give me a tip of a video showing "todays" china factory.

The video is excellent, and full of detail about pottery production during the 1930s. Since the is no voice track, turning the sound down does not diminish the experience. Thank you for sharing this, HLC!

great video. I liked the music at first, but then it got annoying. Maybe some ragtime piano music would fit better.
