  • Spreading good news is wonderful, but unfortunately, there are some who don't want to admit to the good Rob Bell is doing.

  • @aoiahiru 'a frivolous game of words'? I disagree. There is a very serious error in suggesting that Christians are called to 'follow Christ's way'. The error is that it seperates Christ from 'the way'. Christ IS the way! The ONLY way! Jesus is not merely a good moral teacher who told us how we should live. He is the Saviour, who lived a perfect life then died in the place of sinners and rose again,so that sinners who turn to him in repentance and faith can be forgiven.

  • @john17v17 Don't use them in your bird cage though...the bird might read it and go to Hell.

  • @gtrjunky Yes, I find the pages of 'Velvet Elvis' to be soft, strong, and thoroughly absorbent lol

  • If you'd like to read a detailed & fair review of Bell's theology (the YouTube 500 character limit makes this difficult in a single comment!), go to my website aletheia dot org dot uk, scroll down, on the left there's an external link to a review by Dale Van Dyke of Rob Bell's 'Velvet Elvis' (my YouTube channel has a link to my website). Thanks.

  • Rob Bell - nerdy douche and false teacher of theosophical mumbo jumbo bullsheet!

  • @gtrjunky and your a bell bashing whore.

seems funny how you ramble on and on about bell, if you ever get the lumber yard out of your eye maybe you would get it.

  • It's a very challenging book. I too highly recommend it.

    Cheers :O)

    Tim

  • AMEN!

  • "follower of Jesus' way..."??? I thought we were followers of Christ, not His way.

The Bible is clear. It is useful, accessable, and a great theological resource. I highly recommend it. It is the Holy Spirit that reveals interpretation to people, not any book written by man. 2 Timothy 2:15! 2 Timothy 3:16! Proverbs 3:5,6! We must stop idolizing psuedo-intellectuals, and put God first in every aspect of our lives.
