i was in a car that almost got hit by a tire. we were driving down the highway and just changed lanes and all of a sudden this tire comes from the other side of the highway and hits the car right behind us in the windshield. had we stayed in that lane we would have gotten hit.

I had this happen to me. A car on the opposite side of the freeway went in the ditch and his driver tire flew threw the air and I mean not even bouncing right at my car. It did a huge arch like 50 feet in the air and I swirved to avoid the tire or it would have landed right on my car. So this can happen. Thank goodness I saw the tire comming at me in the air. I didn't have a camera mounted on my dash pointed up though but my dad was in the car in front of me and saw the whole thing.
