@xenxander I wish they didn't make the tiny medal so hard to find in this game. I like how they made the tiny medals easier to locate in the remake with Taloon's abilities. At least I think they did. It has been a long time since I played that game.

Has anybody ever tried or managed to actually defeat King Keeleon in chapter 4? I partially wonder what could possibly happen if you level up really high and manage to beat him.

@ShiningComets25 Sadly you can't beat him. I have used a code a while back that you won't lose any HP or MP and you can't beat him. I think he has infinite HP.

@Kenshin1913 Even if there was a way, he'd just respawn after the battle is over. Or at least, that's what happened in the Japanese version of the game.

@xenxander Actually, I think what he does is chant Healall after every round of the battle, but you never see it in the dialogue

@Kenshin1913 Oh and I believe metal slimes rarely drop tiny medals too. As there are about 108 tiny medals ( maybe 110 total) to find in the game, you can't give everyone the best things, like the king medal sword, etc. However having taloon in your party, and fighting metal slimes, gives him the chance to steal the metal slime chest which has a tiny medal inside. Doesn't happen often and as we all know, metals of any type run frequently, which is why the mirror shield is so nice

Actually my memory was really fuzzy. It's in the jail cell in that town, not the ship.. so I must admit this time I was wrong - my ever-knowing knowledge of DQ/DW has let me down this time. :P but that rarely happens.

Yeah he has infinite HP in that battle - no way to beat him even with game genine giving you infinite HP too. Oh well.

Thanks for letting me know about that. I am guessing the game programmers gave King Keeleon infinite HP so he could not be beaten in chapter 4. I did wonder if there was a cheat but I am glad you let me know about his infinite HP.
