  • In the world of guitar, there are two masters of the instrument that come to mind and blow me away everytime they play, and there names are Bettencourt and Gilbert.

  • @HANDSOFFMUSIC - More sad to say, that in reality, 95% of Extreme "fans" want to hear, is More Than Words.

  • @Zappafan1980 I got the cd, got it from a friend.....dunno how to get it actually though, my friend got it in england at a guthrie govan workshop.....it was amazing. that dude plays sooooooo freakin awsome, his technic is a mix of Steve Morse, Greg Howe and Frank Gambale. I think guys like Guthrie govan play in a higher level actually than Nuno Bettencourt, but still nunos solos are incredibly phrased and his technical skills are brilliant. Yeah i checked the projekt gentle hearts, awsome dude.

  • @EmotionalShredd

Yeah sorry i forgot Guthrie Govan and Greg Howe i am not that much into Fusion Jazz Guitarists

its pretty hard to get Guthrie Govans CD Erotic Cakes do you know a way ?

Yes Greg Howe always works with the best musicians check out his Project Gentle Hearts

I hear Allan Holdswarth is also pretty Godlike and Greg Howes Idol

  • @Zappafan1980 agreed, but dont forget Greg Howe and Guthrie Govan. Richie kotzen comes quite close to Nunos style in my opinion, but i have to say nunos solos are so amazingly put into place and the way how they are rythmically phrased. just unbelievable.

  • holy shit, i think he his solos are even better than richie kotzens

  • @dannon2010 Watch some of his other videos, he brings his solos together way better than shredders and he writes some awesome music.

  • Such an under appreciated genius of guitar and music.

  • best guitar player alive

  • @dannon2010

Erm did you listen to the second Solo from 1 : 43 on that is no Shredding that is Blues Rock / Hard Rock

    with Soul

I know only 3 Guitarists on the Planet that can play like that: Paul Gilbert. Richie Kotzen, and Andy Timmons

  • Seems like just another shredder to me...although I am no expert on shredders, I'd have to care. Fast and errr... furious...? OK, just fast. if I want furious, I put my old Jesus Lizard albums on.
