This is another fanvid from me, a music video that's about Batman's 1989 movie. A movie I'll never get tired of watching over and over again.
I really enjoy this movie and it has a true meaning for me. I saw this movie about 20 years ago when I was about 4 years old or about to turn 4, thanks to my cousin renting it and letting me watch the movie with him. Around this time in the early 90's, there was a lot of merchandise flowing around regarding Batman, and I always thought Batman was cool even though I didn't know much about him at a young age. So when I was 4 and saw the 1989 hit movie, I was so engulfed with excitement and awe at what I was able to witness before me. This movie was first released exactly on my 2nd birthday. So of course I was not able to see it when I turned 2(I can't even remember my birthday that year). The rest is history, I became a huge fan of Batman, a fan of comic books, especially of movies, Batman 1989 started it all for me. Even for many people as well.
It's amazing how 20 years after I first saw the movie that I would be able to express my fascination with this movie along with one of the songs in the soundtrack for the movie, by making a music video about it. I really like listening to "Scandalous" by Prince, it's the only Prince song I truly enjoy. Not really a fan of his, but that song is a contender for my number 1 favorite song of all time spot. The actual song has Prince singing, but for this music video, I had to take out his vocals and just use the instrumental only. Trust me, this was the only way. You can't have one of his lyrics go like "Let me wrap my legs around you, girl" while seeing a clip of Batman beating up criminal scum of Gotham City. "Scandalous" is a song that has an eerie mood and a somewhat gothic and romantic vibe in it's composition which, in retrospect, is very fitting for this movie of Batman and even his character in general.
A lot of people dislike Batman 1989 and go out of their way to bash it, but they're miserable fools who don't have good taste in movies and don't know how to sit back and relax without realizing "It's only a movie, first of all." No matter what the flaws of this movie(I admit there were plenty), overall it is a strong movie of epic proportions, nonetheless, and the good outweighs the bad. Regardless of the minor comedy/cheesy relief there was in the movie, it is still a profoundly dark, ominous and majestic movie that remains true to the essence of the Batman character, one who is tormented and yet resilient.
For anyone who is a huge fan of Batman and especially this movie of his, if you happen to stumble upon this fanvid, enjoy. This is also like my big 'Thank You' to everyone who was involved in the making of the Batman 1989 movie. Everyone, especially the actors, production crew, creators of the Batman character, the producers since they were strict on director Tim Burton for not making it overboard like Batman Returns, Danny Elfman along with his orchestra and John L. Nelson(Prince's late father who also composed "Scandalous" for the movie's soundtrack).

@ThePurpleGal7 Thanks for the support. I'm still working on your request, with the song "The Future" by Prince. It will be the next video I upload before anything else on my channel. Oh and uh....Think about the Future! lol :D

@ThePurpleGal7 Wow...I never got a request before. Seeing as you are the very first person to ever request me a project to do, I shall accept it. I just gotta listen to the original song, I can't seem to find it here on youtube(i'll try elsewhere), just remixes. Once I hear the original, then I'll see how I can fit the scenes of the movie to it. Thanks.
