HIV and AIDS has become a serious epidemic in the African-American community, especially among young African-American females. Shaquita Graham is the award-winning filmmaker, editor, and curriculum designer who co-produced and edited this video in partnership with Open Rivers Pictures and Future Foundation. This video was created as a part of an educational program for at-risk youth. This program introduces teens to enhanced decision-making skills relating to building and sustaining healthy relationships. This video compliments a lesson that helps teens understand the realities of living with HIV.
We are all 'allergic' to HIV. If you know you are allergic to something you are careful about not getting it in your system. You read the labels. You'd do everything to avoid it. Read people. Get tested periodically. Do not have sex with casual dates. Do not ignore signs of promiscuity in others. Popping pills daily for the rest of your life will not be worth that casual encounter. Cut off that cheating BF or GF. Being celibate is not that bad. Some could not avoid it but You just might.
