President Obama invited Democrat and Republican leaders to the White House in an attempt to reach agreements on legislation. Bill Plante reports.

@SexSteakSoda Timothy McVeigh was agnostic. The Seattle shooting was committed by a Muslim. And Andrea Yates, though Christian - killed her kids cause she was nuts, not because she was Christian. I don't disagree with your premise, but you might want to use actual examples.

@onclave6 News flash moron: The majority of Islam is non-violent. Just like the majority of Christianity is non-violent. Once in a while there is some nutjob Christian that blows up a building in Oklahoma, shoots up a Jewish neighborhood in Seattle or drowns her kids in a bath tub in Texas... And once in a while a Muslim straps explosives to his chest and walks on a bus full of people. This kind of shit happens in all religion. So who are you to trash on Islam?

@onclave6 muslims do alot of evil things .Obama could have been going to the church as a front and it was a racist church (dont give me that so called) Pastor Wright is caught on tape making racial slurs and his congregation agreeing with him . He would rather hang in a Mosque then a church .He wont even bring his wife to these muslim countries .

@Mr40acresandamule .Thomas Jefferson called himself a Christian however wrote a version of the Bible that took out all of the miracle accounts he mine as well have been an agnostic to me . If Obama is a Muslim it shows what poor judgment he has . The Quran is a fasle book with so many holes in it .It was not inspired by God .Read Yusaf verse 41 .Now in verse 41 crucifixion on the cross is mentioned. Crucifixion of the cross was not around until 500BC .The story written around 2000BC. see?

What difference does it make if he is a Muslim or not I don't care Did you that Thomas Jefferson was agnostic and non-religious? It is interesting how Obama was criticized for attending a so called "racist black church" for 20 years now is called a Muslim. The Muslims I know would never step foot in a church much less for 20 years! They have decide what he is.

@Mr40acresandamule What did he do right?The majority did not want this bill that is why Harry will be gone soon . Most AMerican oppose it because of the fact that 198 Terrorists killed many people on 911 .A number of those terrorists are responsible for the Twin towers no longer being there . It would be an insult and I hope it never gets built .Obama does not help himself with saying "Im a Christian" when he does not show it .he shows more love for the Muslims these days for what?

@onclave6 So what! It doesn't bother me that his party is going against him and Americans are disappointed with him. That is what I expected after Obama was elected. Sometimes you have to forgoe what is popular to do what is right. In regards to the healthcare bill. It wasn't like 70% against it and 30% for it. It was more like 55% against it 45% for it. Most Americans oppose the Mosque because of Islamaphobia and xenophobia.

@Mr40acresandamule Obama just recently condoned that Mosque being built near Ground Zero did you know that ? Did you know that he is an advocate for planned parenthood . Did you know that Obama is the reason why the Dems are running for the hills and losing elections ? His Health care Bill even though the majority of the country did not want it he still had to be stubborn well he will lose in 2012 because of it as well as his party.

@onclave6 I hope the GOP wins the Congress in 2010, so Obama can veto every bill that comes to his desk. The GOP will never have the seats to override Obama's vetoes. Once the economy starts to improve by 2012, voters may reward him with a re-election if he decides to run again. The Dems who run for the hills worry about do what is popular instead of doing what they feel and know is right.

Boy was Boehner wrong about the bill not passing. It is like the GOP are licking their chops thinking they are going to teach Obama a lesson if they take over the Congress. Republicans did that Bill Clinton in 1994 and Clinton won a landslide re-election in 1996. Democrats did the same to Ronald Reagan in 1982 and Reagan won a landslide re-election in 1984. They can never view the president irrelevant or worthless once they have regained power in the Congress.
