@rorythegallowglass I don't know why the governement cant figure that out... then they complain of the debt...

@rorythegallowglass Wrong. First off, most marijuana offenders have plee bargained down from a more serious charge, and no first time pot smoker is ever locked up. Most are dealers that are repeat offenders already on probation. Second, locking up deadbeat dads sends a message. You think mailing them a bill is going to work?

Count that $600 million contributed to Arnold's cause. Crooked politics. Taking jobs away from hard working Califorians...

i'm sure it's a prison for mostly snitches that where bitches in real prison. Better living conditions than 90% of the world population lives in. Who ever pays taxes is getting hustled.

These dirt bags live better than all the good people who lost there jobs and homes. They eat better than our soldiers/marines and they get special programs like free legal, medical and college while all of us law abiding citizens foot this bullshit. They dont deserve this kind of treatment. The reason the return rate is so huge is because this is what they get to come back to. Camp Snoopy.
Rather than spend 7 billion dollars to house more prisoners California should free anyone convicted of a marijuana charge. Also how about freeing deadbeat dad's who fell behind on child support. Does it make
sense to spend 30,000 + thousand dollars a year of taxpayer money to house one inmate who should not be imprisoned in the first place. America imprison's more of it's population than any other country. And yet we are the land of the free?

Oh my god, I can't believe this is on the internet, they used to show this at 7 a.m. every day in Tehachapi, trying to get us out of state... a handful did it, but "we're" purposely trying to overcrowd the CA prisons so they have to give early kicks.
