In this video we will create the MySQL database and tables for a PHP powered Content Management System (CMS). We will also make a start on the PHP scripts.

The source code used in this video is available from my Website: http://goo.gl/cywKw

[ In the next video we will create a page editor so that pages can be edited through the user's browser. ]

  • What type is "id"? or do we keep it as INT?

  • @rednivog50 Yes, it stays as INT.

  • where do we put index.php?

  • @DaGrizzWonch sorry for the late reply. index.php goes in the "cms" folder you made.

  • @Zykew Hi, if the Admin button doesn't work, in your browser, go to "localhost/phpmyadmin" minus the quotes.
