I got to see Three open for Porcupine Tree in Toronto. They entire band was sick as hell and the only member who performed was Joey Eppard. He put on a show that I will never forget. You could tell me was sick as hell but he played a solo show using everything he could to create the other instruments as he sang. Slapping his guitar, tapping the mic stand, stomping feet on the stage and other various methods. One guy in the crowd screamed "Dude you are FU&!C#$G amazing!" creating mass cheers

Coheed and Cambria are my favorite because of the story. 3 are more nostalgic because I saw them when I was 7.

But yes both bands are great.

3 may be more musically ahead but Coheed and Cambria are less metal and more prog in an "obvious" way. I see them as equals.

Three are accomplished enough to do a stage justice opening for anybody on the planet, but deserve to have their own headlining tour. Hope they get to do just that!

Just saw them and coheed...I would have paid for tickets to just three..then seperate for coheed. I have seen coheed 3 times, but after 3 opened everyone I was with said "Coheed has one really hard act to follow, hope they are up for it" And of course coheed did not dissapoint.
