No, that's not what I meant. I can deprive you of your civil liberties. The people in the video are depriving someone of their right to free speech by preventing that speech or drowning it out.
However, that is Constitutionally and ethically acceptable. It's just the same as if I went to a KKK rally with 50 of my friends and sang peace songs to drown out their hatred. If this person wants to be heard, then they need to speak more loudly. That's how freedom of speech works.
You are right that only the government can deprive one of their civil liberties. If you read what I wrote carefully, though, I said stiffle, not deprive. Thank you for your reply.
