i dont understand why you americans put such short stacks on... defeats the purpose of having them doesnt it? i mean mine are on an Australian Ute and they stand well and truely above head height, purly for the fact i dont want people dieing when i take my ute to Truck and Ute shows :D but the noise a straight six 251 twin cam 24 valve produces when i shut my injectors off sounds exactly if not better then a detroit coming down :) (petrol/gasoline btw)

@DirtyWhiteBoy829 They are mostly for looks, such as these. A 5" free flowing exhaust, conventional or stacks, is probably all an engine the size of those in pick-ups needs to perform well. Even trucks with 1000+ hp and 1500+ ft lbs. of torque can push those numbers with 5" exhausts. Overkill it may be, but I love the way 7" stacks look in diesel pick-ups!
