Also, Pittsburgh's PAT no longer runs any Flxible Metros, either.
-
I assume the Low Floors are either numbered in the 90's or 100's.
-
Petersburg has switched to an all Gillig Fleet. They still have the Gillig's that they purchased from GRTC but the majority of their fleet are 35 foot low floor buses.
-
PAT no longer has any Flxible Metros as of last year. GRTC currently runs Gillig Phantoms and Low Floors, 3 Blue Bird Xcel 102's, about 5 or 6 MCI D4505CT's and Ford/Startrans for lightly used routes (like the 22) and CARE van service.

Is that all they have, Flxible and Gillig Phanton? What does Richmond, VA have?

ooo this sounds really great. love the way these 6L71s sounded in Flxibles. LA Metro had 71 of these buses at one point in time ( # 2800-2871 )

Thanks for the compliment! I suggest downloading this one, it sounds WAAAY better than this.
Petersburg Area Transit had 10 of these (#101-110). Sadly, these were retired in 2007 when some Gillig Low Floors came in to take their place. They had some of the loudest, largest (and smokiest) curved-tip exhausts I've ever seen.

It appears from the sign that it was on it Virginia Ave run, meaning it just left from Ettrick

Actually, I took that picture when it was on the Virginia Ave. run. I caught it on the Virginia Ave. run, but I started recording when it started the Ettrick run.
