My great-grandmother's recollection of the 1913 flood near what was Newville, Ohio, southeast of Mansfield. The family had to rescued out an attic window across a makeshift pole bridge. I'm sorry about the video quality, it was from a 20 year old videotape that I copied to streaming video at low bandwidth, and it unfortunately is the only copy I have.
It is amazing what your great grandmother and my grandmother had to endure in their lives. The Great Flood of 1913, two world wars, Korea, and Viet Nam seems more than any one generation should have to go through and yet there was so much good in between it all because of people like them.
