  • Do you think chrome balls would work? They are about 7/16 inches in diameter. Also, approximately how much would a spool of copper wire that big cost?

  • @wuzzy41123 NO! Just kidding. Of course they could work. Be sure you get the actual chrome non-corrosive type or you'll have beautifully rusted martian orbs in no time. I buy the 500 foot roll of 1/8 inch solid copper ground wire from Home Depot. You can sometimes find these supplies on ebay!

  • Where did you get that spool of copper wire from? & how many feet are in those spools?

  • @CrayfishYAY Home Depot 500 feet

  • Can I use a soldering iron instead of a propane torch? Thanks and I'm going to start watching all of your other videos!

  • @CoasterFan456 I don't recommend a soldering iron for this work. Soldering irons, even 100watt, don't get hot enough to solder 1/8" copper wire effectively. A propane torch is much hotter and still takes several seconds of heat before getting the copper hot enough to solder. If you try to use a soldering iron, you'll likely only end up with cold solder joints that will just fall apart.
