lol thats exactly what i thought of kanye's voice, really annoying. I guess the whole electric vibe on that version of the song was to go with the concept of the album but i still get that from this version except its 10x better

those are exactly my thoughts. common needs live instruments to retain the soul/funk vibe that made his songs so infectious in the first place. there's more bass and synth in this live version. it also helps that the live version doesn't have kanye's annoying contribution.
