While waiting to see a new psychiatrist, I wade through familiar waters of depression. This footage is from a few months ago, and as you will learn when you watch the video, new medications have moved me from despair to brighter thoughts...

  • @LaBellaa1984 thanks, LaBellaa1984! I just did, actually. But I've gotta remind people that mental illness is serious bizness, not just a down day. My diagnosis is BiPolar 2 and my mental health is easily destabilized, which is why I take Lamictal, the go-to med for Bipolar. I'm trying to educate people about the brain. Mental illness is not a bad attitude, although you're right that exercise and sunlight are important parts of getting well & staying well.

The interesting thing about depression is how much it can change your view of life and yourself, which is why I'm posting these videos, to educate about depression. I've been here, unfortunately, many times before, but only recently have I been accurately diagnosed as Bipolar 2. We have so much to learn about the human brain...
