Actually we can see all strings playing but we can't hear them at all.
It seems that the microphones arounbd were not opened !
It gave such a bad result.

I COMPLETELY agree with you. The orchestra in 1973 and the one in 1991 are the worst ever, they destroyed a lot of good songs...

Yeah it seems that the mic didn't work well... Anyway, I don't think it was one of our good songs... Martine Clémenceau can sing but this song is not very original and has bad lyrics. But I love the music when she says "C'est le vide/Le vise autour de moi" ! Anyway she's today really forgotten...

A very bland, unidentifiable ballad, not helped by a rather poor vocal performance. It's not for no reason that this would be France's worst placing for the next 24 years. This song and performance is way below their standard; in fact, I consider it one of France's poorest efforts. The very best thing I can say about it is that after this, France seemed to learn their lesson, as they really put it in high gear and came up with classic after classic.

I completely disagree with you; this is a very passionate and powerful ballad with that great quality french ballads are so famous for. I think Martine Clémenceau's performance is very good, but the microphone just didn't seem to like those low-key parts that well. Of course, the lyrics aren't that great, that's a minus, but I still dare to say that this was almost as underrated as the Yugoslavian entry.

It seems that this year 1973, the orchestra was not balanced at all.
We only hear drums and trumpets but very low strings.
And for all 17 songs.
