  • @PKtraceur93 lol? you wouldn't hit anyone in the arm pit LOL there's an elbow there either way. I think because he hits in the ribs.

  • a big reason he's making it high is because a sweet spot for a mid kick is in the arm pit

  • This is a bit far up for a mid kick but from my understanding the "target zone" for a mid kick is from roughly waist to chest height. High kick being to the head and low kicks to the legs. Techniques for all three are similar with only a few adjustment to affect height of kicks.

  • it is not a mid kick.... but in this style some times you want / need to hit the arms-hands of the opponent and damage the bicepts or tricepts...

    it is a part of the strategy to weaken specific parts of the body

  • Its probably because hes showing the full kicking motion and the "cut" upward ,

    the target would still probably be hit mid range if you get me
