Hey hey folks. So this is episode 1 of my new "Food Diary" series. I'll post videos occasionally of what and when I eat. I picked a bad day for this.... I literally JUST ran out of broccoli and brussel sprouts and didn't have a chance to run to the store... Oh well. I don't exactly weigh my food I just eat on instinct and always clear my plate. I'm glad more people are asking about my diet rather than what supplements to take.. Don't get me wrong supplements are great but DIET COMES FIRST! Supplements are TOOLS. (And a different "Food Diary" episode - coming soon!!)
For example;
A hammer is also a tool. So is a drill. You can buy all the hammers and drills that you want - but will that build the house of your dreams? NO! You still have to do the work folks! I stress this to all my clients!
So there it is. Oh and I'm wearing an Animal shirt for postworkout meal because I literally just got home from the gym... If you listen closely throughout the video you'll hear my girlfriend make little comments here and there... I found them funny. :D
NOTE: The intro to this video has my new intro/outro, I'm going to use them for each video now :) Give me some feedback!

Meals:
1) ~5am 3 scoops weight gainer shake
2) ~9am 3 scoops weight gainer shake, oats, banana or 1/2 grapefruit, 3/4tbsp LITE maple syrup in oats
3) ~11am 8eggwhites, oats, banana, 5g Omegas&EFAs, Multi-vit.
4) ~1pm "Big ol' yam", steak, *~1cup broccoli/brussel sprouts
5) ~3pm yam, steak, 2 scoops weight gainer shake*~1cup broccoli/brussel sprouts
6) ~6pm chicken, yam, *~1cup broccoli/brussel sprouts (This is my pre workout meal!)
7) ~730pm Pre workout shake 30mins before training, I make my own cocktail using 8oz NON CITRUS juice like cranberry or grape. I add 5g creatine monohydrate and 5g glutamine.
8) ~10pm post workout shake - 3 scoops weight gainer shake, 5g creatine monohydrate, 5g glutamine
9) ~1030pm 3/4cup cottage cheese, 1 can of flavored tuna (this is actually very tasty, like a spiced cheese from a deli)
ALSO PLEASE NOTE:
i) * = what I would have eaten if I wasn't low on groceries....
ii) Also between meal 8 and 9, I would have eaten more steak with some rice and lots of veggies, meal 9 for me is roughly around midnight... We had an early morning for the trip and we were busy during the day - aka late gym and early bedtime. Unfortunately this resulted in missing an important meal.

  • @mentalshade Thank you so much! This comment made my day :). I haven't posted many vids lately but I've been pretty busy... I have some footage I'm sitting on but by the time I get a chance to organize it all and put it together I've made gains and don't feel like it does me justice. Viscous cycle :s lol

  • @TheEliteTomatoes Steak is high in fat and I was drinking a high calorie weight gainer. My diet has changed since then but ~5000 or more. I'm eating more chicken now
