Amazing! Truly amazing how people can't recognize that the so-called white noise is nothing more than a sweep of am/fm signals (similar to turning the radio dial real quickly).
The man-made noises (not spirits) are broadcast from radio stations. It is common to hear a variety of words (names, places, and even numbers) which can be used to convince people that questions are being answered (example: what is your name? where are you from? how old are you?)
Sorry, the Frank's Box is a scam.

FYI- Frank DOES NOT charge for his devices- he gives them out to people he knows and trusts. Posting coments about Frank 'selling' these boxes is inaccurate and makes you look like an ignoramus- which I'm sure you're not... ;-)
