How to Pray #8 -- Beware of the Devils Mixing & Stealing & Quenching

A message in prayer, in a vision, or in a dream, or from a servant of the Most High is a treasure. Be aware that the enemy of God, the devil and the fallen angels, and the men who serve them (See video, the 4 types of evil people) do not nullify it.

Matthew Chapter 13.

3-8 Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.


18 -- 23 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.



Example:

Worshiping in church I received a short vision. I saw myself preaching on the street to some gang members. It seemed to end. But, very quickly, it continued. I saw that the gang members turned on me and attacked me. I saw myself being hit with fists.

In that church, we would go downtown and pray for the city each Sunday at 6 p.m. We also walked one block to a raucous night club and prayed for it to close. It had previously closed three times. Each time, it reopened under new management. This night, it was closed. A band from Oakland had been scheduled, and failed to appear. Many gang members from Oakland were standing around in the street and in front of the Brendan Theater in small groups of five or six. They were waiting for the doors to open.

I walked over and began preaching to each group one by one. Some wanted nothing to do with Jesus, and, smirking, quietly stepped away. A few wanted to hear what I had to say. I spoke with several of the standing groups. In some, one person would remain and ask questions. In just one of them, two of the young men wanted to hear about Jesus.
However, no one attacked me. That second part was a lie from the devil. He did not want me to preach to those young men who were in gangs.

Thank you again for this series. I recognize many of the attacks that you laid out here that have happened in my own life.

With the attack of business, what is the proper response? What do we do when the demands of work suddenly start to increase? What did you do when you were suddenly loaded down with contracts, for example?

@morethanimusic I am not solidly perfect in managing it! But, try to keep some balance. The main thing is this: pray and ask our Father in Heaven to make the work clear to you, that you can be focused and efficient, and complete the work rapidly, without error. I also command the enemy to be out of my work, to keep his snares and stumbling blocks away.

Very interesting. it seems the devil likes to come in as an afterthought. I have noticed that the more resistance I get over sharing Jesus or sharing a word with someone the powerful and impacting it is when I share anyway. this can only mean that after the Holy Spirit gave me a word to share the devil immediately would come as an afterthought and try to convince me why tnot to give the word or why not to share testimony. Great video!

Good to know that it's normal to have those interjections from the enemy. I have known this to happen a lot and have wondered why. It's all the more reason to keep testing the spirits when we have dreams and visions.

@KnowJesusKnowPeace im just an observer here, ive been thinking about devils attacks, IC that we should have dominion over demons and principalities & situations that hinder us from coming to Christ. but what about this Dominion theology? On the subject of prayer, should they be praying that they take over and Christianize CBS (like Janet porter does),Hollywood, the music industry & have Christianize secular cultures for Jesus like some crusader mentality by 1John 5:3?
